Apple has a deeper library of music than Spotify but Spotify is loved by millions of people, except Taylor Swift of course. For now the streaming music winner is Spotify not Apple Music but its still early in the battle for our ears.
You have been waiting for this one ever since it was announced. Apple Music vs. Spotify: And the winner is… Well the winner might be harder to pick than expect. Apple Music is finally here and guess what? It does not sucks. In fact the service is actually very good. That is what the critics are saying. Believe it or not this is the first time that Apple is actually in the streaming music business.
Apple has a way of entering already saturated marketplaces and completely taking over. Currently the streaming music world is dominated by Spotify. It would be one thing if apple was coming to take over a market that sucks. Like smartphones, Smartwatches or even laptops but the streaming world is well established. Spotify is loved by millions of people, except Taylor Swift of course. Even without the pop princess Spotify has years of experience in the field. They also have something Apple will never have again, good will. The record companies do not trust Apple after what happened with iTunes.
That said Apple Music is a really good service. It has a much deeper library of music than Spotify. It has the Beats 1 Radio and integrated Music Match. Music Match lets you store up to 25,000 of your own music in the cloud. When iOS 9 comes out in the fall that number will grow to 100,000. So right now the winner is Spotify but Apple Music will get there.
