AppleWatch2.2

The next Apple Watch update will let you pair multiple watches with one iPhone

You may be wondering who would have more than one Apple Watch? To that I say First-world problems are a real thing. Apple seems to however understand some of those people are out there. With that the first version of the upcoming watchOS 2.2 was released to developers today. The beta is released just one short month after it released watchOS 2.1 to the world. The new Apple Watch software includes updates for Maps and yes multiple watch support.

WatchOS 2.2 update adds new features to the Maps app. You can now do searches right in the Glances section of the watch. You can also show quick directions. There is now an option called “Nearby,” to highlight local points of interest as well. The feature lets you tap on it will show sub-categories like Food, Drinks, Shopping, Travel, and Health. Try to think of it as a kind of mini-Foursquare. Developers can now create more detailed workout summaries in the apps with things like a workout summary. These updates will apply to both third-party watch apps and Apple’s own Workout and Health apps. Again, keep in mind that this watchOS 2.2 update is only available to developers who are running an iPhone with iOS 9.3.
