That secrecy Apple use to have is gone along with its innovation. Apple can no longer keep things under wraps. You can’t completely blame Apple, they require a manufacturing partner to make the millions of devices they sell each quarter. Therefore anyone that was expecting more than what was offered today was clearly not in the loop. Also it is worth noting that Apple’s biggest product announcements happen in September. I can not wait to see what Apple comes up with to fight off the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge but for now, here is a run down of what was talked about.

iPhone SE

The new 4-inch iPhone SE features an NFC chip for Apple Pay support, the A9 processor, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2, 12-megapixel camera and able to record video in 4K. The iPhone SE also has support for Live Photos. 3D touch and always-on ‘Hey Siri’ hanks to Apple’s M9 motion coprocessor. To no ones surprise the iPhone SE looks the same as the iPhone 5s. The iPhone SE is available in Space Grey, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold. It is priced at $400 for 16GB and $500 for 64GB. Why didn’t they just start it at 32GB is beyond me. Apple’s new iPhone SE is without question the least exciting new iPhone Apple has ever unveiled. However it was not for the tech lovers out there. It was for people that just want something that works at a reasonable price.

iPad Pro

9.7-inch iPad Pro can be ordered 3.24 for an availability of 3.31. As rumored the 9.7-inch iPad Pro certainly deserves the ‘Pro’ tag. The a new speaker system, A9x processor. LED flash and support for the relatively new Apple Pencil. The 9.7-inch iPad Pro will start at $599 for WiFi only and $729 for cellular. Both versions start at 32GB.

New Apple Watch bands and $100 price drop

Yep, that was not a typo. Apple introduced new Apple Watch band colors. That was the big news. You can all go home now folks. To be fair the $100 price drop was unexpected and very welcomed ahead of the Apple Watch 2 set to be introduced in September.

iOS 9.3

This has already been released for iOS 9.3 to developers but the world will have to wait a little bit longer. We got a taste but not a full release. What did learn is Night Shift aka F.Lux clone, Touch ID protection for Notes and more are on the way.

Apple TV

There is an update for tvOS that gives Siri more power and adds more apps.  And last, and deservedly least, Apple next week might quickly introduce new versions of tvOS and watchOS.
