There is not much that Alexa can not do. The voice-activated Echo is Siri that works. Every week it gains new feature to make our lives easier. Well Amazon’s Alexa now can control Nest. Amazon’s digital assistant Alexa will be able to tell the smart thermostats how cold or hot you want your house. Rumor has it that Google is working on a competitor to the Echo but Amazon. However at this point Amazon has such a head start in the space it may be too late for others. When the Amazon Dot and Tap are launched later this year they will have the capability to control the Nest.
Amazon has been working with multiple companies to try to make Alexa the go to platform for your smart home. Nest for its part has also been doing what it can to get companies to work with it.
