Apple has a way of taking apps or tweaks we love and integrating them into their operating systems. Seems the trend is set to continue with the next upgrade of the Mac OS. There are reports that Mac OS X 10.12 will allow us to unlock our computers with just our fingerprints via your iPhones Touch ID. Your Mac would only unlock when you are in close proximity similar to the way the Apple Watch can bypass its passcode when near an unlocked iPhone thanks to Bluetooth LE.

Again you can already do this with the apps Knock or MacID but it will be cool to have these features built into the operating system. WWDC might also bring other features to the operating system such as adding Apple Pay support on Safari and Siri support. We will have to wait until the annual 2016 Worldwide Developer Conference which is set to take place from June 13th through June 17th in San Francisco.
