If Apple was thinking that it could come in and take over streaming music like it does everything else. It is in for a fight. Spotify confirmed that it now has over 100 million active users. That is not all people paying for the service but rather anyone who has listened to music on Spotify at least once a month. Last year Spotify was at 75 million. They have been adding 1.8 million new users every month since then. Spotify had 30 million paid subscribers at last check in March.
