If you’ve got a MacBook (or an iMac) and any secondary Apple device you will know how great it is to use the Apple “ecosystem”.  To start, having the ability to send iMessages (and text) via your MacBook is incredible.  No more having to grab your phone every time someone sends you a message.  Simply do it from your desktop.  But there are so many other things you can do, which is why buying into the Apple ecosystem is actually beneficial.  Since the release of iOS 8.1, you have been able to make and accept calls from your iPad when your iPhone is nearby.  Again, another incredible feature.  The drawback is that you will need your iPhone nearby, however, this will let you stay working on one machine – no matter what happens around you.

I am not a fan of multi-tasking.  I like to do one task, really well, at a time.  But we live in a world that doesn’t allow for me to do anything BUT multi-task, so we are going to help you get this set up.  Having the flexibility to take calls and do things on different devices in a continuous way is incredible.  In this post, we will give you all the information you need if you want to make calls from your iPad.
