If you have any code writing talent what’s so ever, now is the time to put it to use. You can now create apps for AppleWatch if you’re a Developer. Even the most mundane app will get you a pretty penny. Remember when the iPad was first released? There were only  a handful of apps available for it. Those apps did the most basic things but they made a boatload because they were first.

Apple has released the toolbox WatchKit. This tool is what is used to develop apps for this next-gen wristwear. Watchkit is tied into the iOS 8.2 beta SDK which was also recently released to those with developers accounts. The 8.2 beta combined with the Watchkit lets you play around with pressure-aware touch, notifications and glanceable info. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to release your creation into the world until until next year.

Apple Watch is our most personal device ever, and WatchKit provides the incredible iOS developer community with the tools they need to create exciting new experiences right on your wrist. With the iOS 8.2 beta SDK, developers can now start using WatchKit to create breakthrough new apps, Glances and actionable notifications designed for the innovative Apple Watch interface and work with new technologies such as Force Touch, Digital Crown and Taptic Engine. ~Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing

The WatchKit site includes programming guides, human interface guidelines, templates and more. Starting later next year, developers will be able to create fully native apps for Apple Watch. Steve Troughton-Smith discovered that the two Apple Watch models use different screen resolutions; the 38mm version displays at 272 x 340, while the larger 42mm model uses 312 x 390.
