The rumors are over. Fox has confirmed that it's bringing The X-Files back to TV. The show is getting the "24" treatment. Fox had brought back 24 for a six-episode event series. They are doing the same thing this summer with X-Files. I know you wanted a full-on relaunch but this is better than nothing. I mean the last movie was not that good so maybe this is the best outcome. Chris Carter, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be back in their respective roles.
