We know Apple likes to do their own thing but it seems with the Apple Watch they are playing nice. We had thought that the Apple Watch's charging system was going to be very similar to the MagSafe found Apple's MacBooks. However the Apple Watch plays nice with the Qi standard that is used by Android Wear.
