It’s that time of year again. You are scrambling for gifts. We have you covered. Here are few our picks for gifts that will be in stock and easy to get your hands on last-minute. There should be no reason why you can not get these gifts in the stores or online and delivered in time for Christmas.

With Black Friday and Cyber Monday over honestly your days are numbered for shopping. Some of you were brave enough to go out into the harsh weather and leave the comfort of their homes. You folks are very impressive? If you are just reading this a few days before Christmas I’m sorry. It might be a little too late for you. You will not get that gift your wanted shipped in time but maybe we can find you an alternative.

Amazon Echo Dot

$179 This year’s must have gift is only $50. The standalone voice-activated assistant Amazon Echo Dot. The Dot provides the same voice interaction and smart-home integration of Amazon Echo but at a far friendlier price point. Only downside is the lack of real audio but you can easily connect it to your favorite speaker.

Amazon Fire Stick

$49 This little streaming dongle was our pick for best budget streamer. At only $40, the latest Fire TV Stick gives users access to the entire Fire TV ecosystem, PLUS it has a “voice remote,” which allows users to converse with Alexa. Voice UIs (especially AI-guided ones like Alexa) make it far easier to navigate through the nearly-too-much content out there in streaming land (Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now, and Amazon Prime’s own offerings, just to name a few).

Fire 7 Tablet

$49 Yes, another product from Amazon. What can we say? Amazon’s name recognition, quality and wonderful price point makes it easy to recommend. The company makes great hardware at a great price. Amazon Prime ecosystem is the end game one would have to think. That aside at the end of teh day Amazon makes really cool entry-level gadgets. The Fire will easily allow you to browse online, play games, and stream movies and TV. What else do you really need your tablet to do? Did we mention it is jsut $50?

Tile Mate & Slim

$30 These Bluetooth-powered tags play a little song when prompted, so you can find them if they are within 100 feet of your cellphone. These things are small and inexpensive they’re must-owns. Tile Slim is just the width of two credit cards. That means it fits perfectly into you wallet. Tile Mate is perfect for your keychain fob.

Nintendo NES Classic Edition

$60 As a millennials and Gen-Xer you get to relive your glory days, or share your childhood favorites with their kids. You get 30 classic 8-bit Nintendo games and a replica gamepad.

Fitbit Charge 2

$150 A simple fitness tracker that gets the job done and still beyond basic step tracking. You can get smartphone notifications throughout the day. It’s also not possible to remotely control music playback through the Charge 2.

Apple Watch

$360 If you want something with a little more options. I recommend the Apple Watch Series 2. It is now water resistant and includes built-in GPS tracking. The performance enhancements alone are worth it. The Apple Watch  frees you from having to reach for your phone to check your texts.

Audio-Technica AT-LP60 Turntable

$98 2016 Vinyl outsold digital music for the first time. It’s not just for hipsters anymore. If someone in your life has caught the record bug, they’ll need a turntable to play them on. Audio Technica’s turntable will play 33rpm and 45rpm records. The sound is great because you vinyl sounds better than MP3 anyway.

Ring Pro Doorbell

$199 Ring has an HD camera, a microphone, speaker, and motion detector built-in to its small hardware. The camera itself has a fish-eye type lens that can capture a wide range. It connects to WiFi and can ping your smartphone when someone’s at the door, wherever you are. There’s an option to record every activity detected by motion sensors to the cloud for $30 per year or $3 per month.
