Games

Like I said with most of the other lists in this series, I’m kind of surprised what games made this list.  Or more importantly, what games didn’t.  Obviously, these are mobile game as this list has been compiled by Apple.  My concern is that I’ve never heard of some of these games.  No, I’m not a hardcore gamer, but I still know what’s going on in the world.  And none of these games made my list.  But let’s explore them anyway.

Super Mario Run

Super Mario Run is a side-scrolling, endless runner video game developed and published by Nintendo for iOS and Android devices.  The game is one of Nintendo’s first games developed for mobile devices, and one of the few instances that a game in the Mario series was officially released on non-Nintendo hardware. Super Mario Run features three principal game modes: the core game where the player controls Mario or other characters as they automatically run across the screen while timing jumps to collect coins and other awards, a Toad Rally where players compete against ghosts of other players, and a Mushroom Kingdom area for players to expand using coins and other collectibles from the other game modes.

8 Ball Pool

8 Ball Pool is the biggest and best multiplayer Pool game online. You can play billiards for free against other players and friends in 1-on-1 matches, enter tournaments to win big. Level up and earn Pool Coins for your wins. Customize with cues & cloths in the Pool Shop.  It’s basically a pool game.  I don’t know if I can say anything more about it. Download it for yourself and see what’s up.  It’s available for iOS and Android.

Snake vs. Block

Like with the pool game, I don’t really have much to say about Snake vs. Block.  It’s an endless gameplay game.  Which means, it can go on forever.  It kind of reminds me of Tetris, but with a modern-day spin.  I would find this game highly addictive, so I’m not sure that it’s the best thing for me to download.  But if you think you can handle it, download it and let us know what you think.

Ballz

All I want to say is – see above? No jokes though.  To play the game, simply swipe your finger to throw the balls and break the bricks. You can try to break as many bricks as possible before they move down to the bottom.  Collect all the items to get additional balls and make an endless ball chain.  Like I said, endless games are highly addictive so this isn’t something that appeals to me.  But at the same time, it’s making Apple’s list so there must be a ton of people who are into it.
