The jailbreak community was in disbelief today as someone had there own “Funday.” A person calling himself MultiMediaWill released Comex’s jailbreak. I like many other iPad 2 owners have been waiting rather patiently for Comex. Seems like one person was not as patient as the rest of us.
I imagine MultiMediaWill was hoping to have people would adore him or at least thank him. Some people were on this jailbreak like white on rice others were a little bit more reserved. They were either reserved due to loyalty and respect to Comex; some were taking precautions because the jailbreak is not official. That is wise because it has been reported to be very buggy. Here is the video of him jailbreaking it.
MultiMediaWill claims he did so to encourage Comex to hurry up and release the final version of his jailbreak. All this has done is create more work for the jailbreak community. Apple will most likely patch the exploit with iOS 4.3.4 very soon. It is highly recommended that you save your iOS 4.3.3 blobs. One Jailbreak developer named FilippoBiga said:
“It will take Apple something like 20 mins to reverse the exploit triggered by the PDF library and patch it. Save your 4.3.3 SHSH NOW please!”
UPDATE: It seems that MultiMediaWill has taken down the link to the exploit and the youtube video is gone as well. Although by this time I’m sure it can be found with a quick Google search.
