I got my first invite a week ago to Google Plus but was too late to respond to it. By the time I got home Google had already closed the beta even to invites. Well this morning I got another invite and ran to the iPad to enter the information needed to register. It was relatively quick and painless .

You setup your “About” page then sent off to make circles. While it is as simple as everyone has been saying there are some drawbacks. Namely you can not just add anyone you want. Also it would be nice if there was an import for contacts from Facebook. While I know that is not going to happen it still would be nice. For now the Yahoo import workaround will do.

The only thing so far I see that is wrong with Google+ is the lack of people. That however is due to it being a beta. I just hope that it does better than Google Wave did. I remember people being very excited about that too when it first came out. So far not all the functions of the Social Network can be used properly using the iOS web app. Some enter fields just do not respond to the keys. That is again to be expected while testing.

So to sum it up the experience of Google+ while great is limited for the time being until kore people jump on. With that said for an invite leave a comment or tweet this post.
