This might be the best thing to come to the airport since phone chargers. Thanks to Nintendo now when you are waiting for your plane to board you don’t have to find something to kill time. You don’t have to be bored out of your mind which can be excruciating depending. Any passengers lucky enough to be flying this spring might have to send a thank you note to Nintendo. Four US airports well be opening up pop-up Nintendo Switch lounges. So you and the kids can play hit Switch games, charge devices and grab some swag. The goal of Nintendo doing this beside the great PR, is to get people who have not experienced the Nintendo Switch yet excited about the product. Maybe even convert a few non-gamers into Nintendo Switch owners. I mean after all the Nintendo Switch is so portable that is a great companion for travelers. Passengers will be able to play the The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario Party. They will also be available to play in both TV mode and portable mode.

Once you get your fill and before they start calling your name over the terminal speakers, you can purchase a Switch and some games. However strange enough and a major oversight in my opinion; travelers can’t get their Nintendo Switch console on the same day and take them on their trip. Instead Nintendo will ship the products you buy. For all that you might as well buy it from Amazon or any of the Best Buy kiosks that have Nintendo Switch in them. Nintendo will give those that do order a Switch or Switch Lite a free carrying case and a Nintendo-themed luggage handle wrap plus a $10 Target coupon for any Nintendo purchase of $75 or more.

These are the four U.S. Nintendo Switch pop up airport lounge and how long they will be available.
