The HTC One is one of the best phones you can buy right now. However, the company that built up Android with its sense UI is now in the dumps. Before Samsung became a powerhouse with trade secrets from Apple, it was HTC that was the talk of the tech town. HTC hasn’t stopped the company’s decline in profitability but it is not going down. The company went out and got itself and Avenger to help win the great smartphone wars. Robert Downey, Jr. aka Iron Man has been enlisted to appear in an ad campaign. Tony Stark does not come cheap. This is a two year deal that will cost HTC $1 billion. That is some ad campaign but it’s aimed at rebuilding the company’s lost brand recognition and luster. The whole campaign will be focused around the HTC One.
