GOT

We at Saintel Daily like Game of Thrones. Alright that is an under statement, We love Game of Thrones. I personally did a cartwheel when [Spoiler] got eliminated at that [location of spoiler]. The opening credits are one of the best that I have seen. I always thought it would be cool if I could take over the camera controls and go where ever I wanted to go. If you are like me and have been wishing for the same thing. You are in luck. Say hello to Google Maps for Game of Thrones. This interactive map is pretty much the best thing for fans of the show since the death of [Spoiler]. Although this map is not official from Google nor does HBO officially endorse it. This interactive map of Westeros and Essos is a joy to play with. A word of caution however, make sure you set your spoiler bar before you start playing with it. The names on the map once click open a new window with more information in Wiki fashion.

I have not read all the books because I want to enjoy the unexpectedness of the show. Plus the book is always better than the visual representation. Why set myself up for that disappointment? The site is smart enough to let you look around without a spoiling anything for you. That is if you use the slider. The slider is used determine what information to share with you. The more you want to reveal the more you slide in one direction. However, I found it more easier to use episodes of the show to limit information. You can use chapters of the books or episodes of the show. Rumor has it that George R.R. Martin’s creation will be left behind as the show progress. If that happens, the book would actually fall behind filming of new episodes. You can select characters travels such as Joffrey Baratheon. See how he got to the wedding or where he goes hunting. One of the coolest features is the ability to select multiple characters to see how they overlapped and crossed each other’s paths. You can see social structure as well as where region’s loyalty lies. If you watch the show or read the books, you should go check it out ASAP.
