“Me and my Adidas do the illest things, we like to stomp out pimps with diamond rings….”

For almost 30 years, sneaker junkies (like Run D.M.C.) have professed their love of the Adidas sneaker. From soccer players looking for functionality to hipsters on the cutting edge of fashion, Adidas has continued to both expand their brand offerings without losing it’s devotees. And they’ve done it again. Coming this fall, a new level of sneaker customization hits the ground. No longer is just a drop down box of color choices, text boxes, and laces, you can include your own images on your custom Adidas.

Taking “MY ADIDAS” to a whole new level, this August, Adidas will allow you to customize your ZX Flux shoes using a new print app (#miadidas, for iPhone and Android) to print your instagram images on your shoe. Details on the app, the technology and the ordering process are coming, but one can only imagine this is another time when the rest of the sneaker industry will follow their footsteps.

We are excited to see how this will work out for Adidas sneakerheads. So, we’re already reviewing our own Instagram images now for the most shoe-worthy shots for our next pair of Adidas.
