Gaming is big business. Call of Duty makes billions under 24 hours in every time a new game is released. YouTube is the window to what people crave and want. Gaming is obviously a very part of  YouTube. Live streaming gameplay services such as Twitch owns the market. Google’s YouTube is the go to place for most things but not live game streaming. Google hopes to change that with YouTube Gaming.

“We’re connecting you to the games, community and culture that matter to you – by gamers, for gamers,” ~YouTube Gaming

YouTube Gaming came just in time for the mecca event of gaming, E3. This is noting like your normal YouTube. The user interface is focused on live games. Other new features are the added ways you will be able to connect to each other. They are Games, Feed and Channels. There is an improved chat system. The YouTube Gaming service is not live but will be soon.  Will it be enough to take any market share from Twitch? Only time will tell.
