AT&T is giving its subscribers back unlimited data plans! Wait, not so fast there buckaroo. AT&T is a monopoly there has to be some strings attached. AT&T announced that to get the unlimited data plans you have to be a new and existing subscriber. Which is normal but you will also have to also sign up for one of AT&T’s pay TV packages. So basically you have to get a package similar to Verizon’s Triple Play. Customers have to subscribe to DirecTV or AT&T U-Verse. The $100 a month plan is for one phone. Additional phones are $40 each. AT&T will also throttle your speeds during hours of network congestion if you’ve exceeded 22GB per month. So don’t get too excited power users.
