The Punisher is Marvel and Netflix next series together. Daredevil was not violent Enough. Marvel made it official with the announcement that Netflix has ordered a Punisher series. The Punisher was very well received on its debut in the second season of Daredevil. Jon Bernthal did such a great job that he will reprise his role as Frank Castle. Netflix is betting you are not sick of all the Marvel content as of late. The Punisher is the sixth Marvel series that the streaming service has ordered. So far Netflix has Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders.

Before you get too excited with the news. Just keep in mind that there is still no release date or plot information about The Punisher. In the meantime Luke Cage will have to hold you over. That Marvel/Netflix series is releasing this September.
