I got my bata entry to Republic Wireless. It is ready to have more people into a low price cellphone service. Starting today it’s reopening signups. The phone you get is the Motorola Defy XT. It’s an Android 2.3 device with a 3.7-inch display. The processor is a 1GHz CPU. The battery life should be decent at about 1650 mAh.  Pictures are only at 5MP camera in back and a VGA camera in front. You also have a microSD slot. The price for this phone is not free. You have to shell out $249 for the Android phone. That seems a bit much for a Gingerbread phone.  Just think about it though, Republic Wireless is $19 a month for unlimited data.
