Ryan Seacrest’s Typo keyboard may be the one thing that the super overworked and exposed celebrity can’t win at. The Typo is a case that for your iPhone that transforms the bottom into a keyboard. The problem is that the keyboard happens to look like and feel like the Blackberry keyboard. The Typo also covers the iPhone home button. You can press the button-right key that will act like the home key. To say that BlackBerry was not pleased with the design of the Typo was an understatement. A US district judge in San Francisco agreed with the failing company over the look-a-like keyboard. The judge has granted k a preliminary injunction on sales of the Typo. What that means is there will be a temporary sales ban. You will just have to hold on to your $99. It’s all for the best as a new iPhone coming out in September anyway.

BlackBerry is pleased that its motion for a preliminary injunction against Typo Products LLC was granted. This ruling will help prevent further injury to BlackBerry from Typo’s blatant theft of our patented keyboard technology. ~Blackberry
