The Samsung Smart Windshield is a concept that goes right in the about time files. Its hard to believe that this concept is not already in production. Motorcycles have been left behind in terms of technology unlike cars. With the exception of The SKULLY AR-1 which is the first helmet to feature a built-in 180° Blindspot Camera and Heads-Up Display for unparalleled situational awareness and safety. Samsung the kind of epic vaporware looks to change that.
Samsung’s Smart Windshield is Magic & I Want It! Ok, its not magic but it is looks like it even thought the technology already exists to make this happen. For this magic to happen all you need is a smartphone, app and a small projector. The projector has to be small enough to not take up too much space. The projector shows information onto a the windshield. The rider can see navigation info, emails, phone calls, and text messages. One would assume this will work with out distracting the rider. Then again there are already tons of people listening to music, checking out Waze info or even reading playing on their watches.
