The hack works because to download the gogo app, you have to be able to get online. So Gogo gives you a temporary internet connection. Connect to the gogo wifi network
Browse the movie library and find a free movie
Click on the free movie and it will bring you to a page to download the gogo app
Enter the code to access to App Store to get to the gogo app
You will be in the App Store
Go back to Safari and open a new tab
Enjoy free wifi!
Now the bad news. The Wi-Fi hack only works for a short time. You will have to re-do the hack every 10-20 minutes depending on the airline. Also note that this work hack will not work on Android devices.
