Did you know your iPhone tracks your every location? Here is how to stop it. First thing to know is that it is not just Apple. A lot of smartphone companies install apps that do things we just didn’t ask for. These apps track your location for whatever reason the developer sees fit. The thing that irks people is when the various purposes are hidden or worse you don’t have any warning the app is even there. Frequent Location is such an app. It’s not really an app. Its an actually a feature of the iPhone. It would be better if it was an app. The only way to see the information is to go through a very well hidden menu.  What does it do? Like the name suggest will show you a map of the exact places you have been. So basically you’re being tracked. I am for one comfortable with it and if you are as well its easy enough to turn off.

“Your iPhone will keep track of places you have recently been, as well as how often and when you visited them, in order to learn places that are significant to you. This data is kept solely on your device and will not be sent to Apple without your consent. It will be used to provide you with personalized services, such as predictive traffic routing.” ~Apple

I would turn off the feature for your privacy and as a bonus it saves your data. What you have to do is go to Settings, then Privacy, then Location Services. Once there, tap the System Services menu and look for the Frequent Locations menu at the end.
