HTC will launch the Flyer on an un-named carrier. They plan to hit market before RIM’s PlayBook in March and Motorola’s Xoom in April.

HTC has focused on manufacturing smartphones in particular. It is currently the fourth biggest smartphone maker in the world. That is a big move for a company that has only been out since 1979. . Total 2010 revenues amounted to $9.57 billion.
