I got some bad news for Netflix subscribers. You are going to see your subscription price go up. Now the good news; some of you get to keep your current price so few more months longer. Netflix is doing a slow roll out instead of one full swoop. The price increases gradually depending how long you have been a subscriber. Those of you that jumped on when the service was $7.99-per-month are going to enjoy that for a while. Don’t worry though Netflix will email you about the price increase before it happens so you won’t be surprised when your bill comes.

Want to see how long your current lower rate will be locked?

  1. Log into your Netflix account
  2. Hover over your user name
  3. Click on “My Account.”
  4. You’ll see how long your current lower rate & how long you can keep it

Here is the new price breakdown:.

  • Netflix for $8.99 per month =  Only one screen and only standard definition
  • Netflix for $9.99 per month =  Two screens and only HD
  • Netflix for $11.99 per month = Four screens and only 4K
