Just one day after Apple made its App Store subscription service available to publishers, Google says hey anything you can do we can do better.  They have a similar service for its Android platform. It will also work in Web-based clients and Chrome OS since that is all it is anyway. This will let publishers hit multiple platforms with one solution.  Google’s One Pass has a single interface between devices to access and manage digital newspaper, magazine and other content subscriptions.

What makes Google better? Google gives publishers flexibility. Publishers will be able to give free subscriptions to paid print subscribers. (Here that Apple! Free)  That is great for the customer but what is it in for the publishers that charge for their publications? Well, 10% Apple takes 30% Google said we’ll do it on multiple devices and the web for only %10.
