If you got a $65 million dollar settlement with Facebook would you go after some more? Well in 2008 Facebook the Winklevosses Brothers got such a deal but that was not enough for the already rich brothers. They said that Facebook gave them misleading information. They have been going to court ever since. They said they would challenge an April 2011 ruling by the 9th Circuit Court and go to the Supreme Court instead but someone must have talked to them and made them see the light.
They made a statement at the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco. They said that they would drop the legal appeal. So the first case will still hold up. They will get Facebook stock now worth more than $65 million.
The original suit was field on 2004 accusing Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg pulling a Samsung by copying their CONNECTU idea to create Facebook.
Facebook said “We’ve considered this case closed for a long time, and we’re pleased to see the other party now agrees.”
