Apple has unveiled new MacBook Air models. The new Airs are now cheaper. You can not get a MacBook Air starting at $899 for the 11.6-inch and $999 13-inch. Both are $100 less than its predecessors just yesterday. A smart use of the savings would be to upgrade the RAM memory to 8GB instead of the standard 4GB.
The new MacBook Airs have slightly faster Intel Haswell processors. The base models before any upgrades have a 1.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, Intel HD Graphics 5000, 4GB of memory and 128GB SSDs. If 128GB of hard drive space is not enough for you, and let’s be honest it’s not. You can upgrade to a higher capacity SSD. Can’t wait to get your hands on this new baby? You don’t have to. The new Airs are available to order now on the Apple site.
