Fans who purchase Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, or the Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle, will be able to unlock the entire Gears collection via Xbox One Backward Compatibility.
I was excited to get the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition already but now there is news that the whole series comes with it. That is Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment. That is five games for the price of one. You have between August 25th through Dec. 31, 2015 to be gifted the games. You will have access to all of the Xbox 360 Gears games through backward compatibility. You will get to relive the classics in all its splendor. You can take on the Locust from start to finish. Not only that but you will be able to utilize some of your favorite next-gen features like Game DVR, Snap, screenshots and more.
You will not have to start from scratch. All your previously-saved files, game add-ons, achievements will carry over. You will also be able to play with friends on Xbox Live.
