There’s one thing every Facebook user has wanted since the service started, a ‘dislike’ button. It’s finally Happening.

We don’t know what has taken so long to make a ‘dislike’ button happen on Facebook but its about time. I know the fear is that some kid out there will use the feature for cyber bulling but at this point anything can be used for cyber bulling. Just take a look at any twitter feed. When a tragedy happens to a loved one, friends or family Facebook members didn’t have a way to express themselves. No one wants to “like” bad news but they has no other option. Mark Zuckerberg revealed that the ‘dislike’ button is under development while on a Q &A session.

“People have asked about the ‘dislike’ button for many years, and probably hundreds of people have asked about this, and today is a special day because today is the day that I actually get to say we are working on it, and are very close to shipping a test of it. That doesn’t seem like the kind of community that we want to create: You don’t want to go through the process of sharing some moment that was important to you in your day and have someone ‘downvote’ it,” ~Mark Zuckerberg
