Microsoft beat Sony to the punch with it’s impressive sales numbers. 3 million Xbox One units were sold in just a few months in 2013. However, an on going trend in this young console war is that Sony seems to counter with its own news. True to form, Sony hit back and hit back hard.
Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai and his team stated during his keynote that the that PlayStation 4 has sold 4.2 Million as of December 28th, 2013. Keep in mind that the PS4 launched on November 15th last year. Microsoft’s Xbox One debuted on November 22nd.
