Brooklyn's Finest

Brooklyn’s Finest is 140mins of Good cop vs. Bad cop but most of the fight is in the mind of the cops and not on the streets. There is little action in this movie. That is not to say that there is no action. Just little. At times I felt I was watching an episode of Law & Order: SVU (aka the best one) There just did not seem to be enough depth. Tango (Don Cheadle) was the best one but due to the cliché of an undercover cop trying to make the grade to get out. It rings very hollow. With Mr. Snipes there I kept thinking Niño every time I saw him. That is not a knock at him at all. Mr. Snipes did a great job with what he had to work with. But what he had to work with was not much.

Also almost every bit actor from the Wire was in this movie. I count at least six before I gave it up due to the lunacy of it. Over all this movie is a Netflix or a Red Box. Wait for Takers or New Jack City 2.
