We knew this was going to happen. It was just a matter of time. It was rumored for a while and now it is official. Supergirl will move from CBS and join the Flash over at CW. Supergirl has very expensive license fees so CBS is glad to release the show. So, it seems to be a purely monetary decision. Supergirl had pretty good rankings. It was the No. 1 new CBS drama and No. 4 new network series overall. Only Blindspot, Life In Pieces and Quantico did better. Supergirl’s production is moving from Los Angeles to Vancouver where the other CW DC shows are filmed. The CW was once home to Smallville and currently airs The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow. Crossovers are to be expected.
