Samsung didn’t show off much at the MWC 2017 other than a few tablets but did say they would have more on March 29th at its New York-based Unpacked event. Looks like the cat is out of the bag. The Galaxy S8 was leaked by a trusted source. Evan Blass posted the image that most have hoped for. The full unrendered view of the Galaxy S8. The phone has a very small top and bottom bezel. There are no physical home buttons. It is basically all curved glass. We are still waiting for a picture of the back of the phone. One would think that the fingerprint reader would be back there or has Samsung beat Apple to the punch.. ahh.. touch? Could it possibly have a fingerprint sensor built into the front screen?

That means that Galaxy S8 and LG G6 will both be pretty much as close to a ‘bezel-less’ design as one can get. However Apple iPhone 8 is right around the corner. We can only assume Apple will have something special to show us in the fall since their last few phones from a design aspect have been mundane. Maybe these phones will give us an idea of how the iPhone 8 will look like. The current rumours are that the iPhone 8 will have no bezels at all. That seems unlikely unless Apple can come up with some great palm rejection software.
