Netflix is on a mission to become more than a content distributor. They are trying to make the content on their service. They have done a great job so far with standouts House of Cards and Orange is the New Black. While Marco Polo was good it was not a sensation like the aforementioned. Now they have teamed up Marvel to produce a series based on Daredevil. Let’s just hope the show is better than the movies.

From the looks of the newly released trailer the Daredevil series is a cross of Arrow and Smallville. However we will hold off on making judgments until we see the first few episodes. This is the first of four superheroes based shows that Marvel and Netflix plan to bring to the service. On April 10th you will be able to watch all eight episodes of Daredevil.

“Meet Matt Murdock. Blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt fights injustice by day as a respected lawyer and by night as the masked vigilante known as Daredevil in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. He’ll do anything to make his city a better place, but at what price?” ~Marvel
