If you love superhero movies you are in luck. Sony Pictures plans another Spider-Man franchise reboot. We know from the Sony hacking scandal that Marvel and Disney will be working with Sony to bring Spiderman into the Marvel Universe. This is a great thing for fans of Spiderman and should welcome the help from Marvel and Disney. They don’t just make blockbuster movies they make long arching story lines that blend together each one like a new chapter in a great book.
You can expect to see Spiderman in his new movie on June 28th, 2017. We are not sure which Marvel/Disney movie that Spiderman will be in first. We suspect that it could be Captain America: Civil War. Sony is not just going to give away its rights to the web slinger. Sony is keeping its exclusive rights to “finance, distribute, own and have final creative control of” all Spider-Man movies. However there is no getting away from the popularity of the Marvel and Disney movies. Spiderman will take advantage of that popularity. That is not the only change going on.
