You have a shiny new PlayStation 4. You are wondering what is the best games to get for your buck. Well here you go. Our top picks for the new machine are as follows.

Bloodborne is from the same folks that did Dark Souls 3. Don’t let the Victorian-era city fool you. This game is hella fun. Not sure that is a word but you get my drift. In the game you have fight a plague and a weird monsters. Bloodborne has a gothic gloomy feel to it but that will only suck you in more.

The more you kill in the game the more chaos you cause which will affect how how the game responds to you. You can play as Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin. What is the point of the game? Well the more you kill, the more chaos you cause, which will ultimately affect how your game plays out.

People have been waiting for this game for decade. I am not sure any game is worth a 10 year wait but this game is pretty awesome. Final Fantasy XV got rid of menus for real-time combat system that’s built around a central warping mechanic. There is a deep story as well.

Blizzard made a team-based, multiplayer first-person shooter? A few years ago that would have sounded very strange but they did and they did it very well. In a year full of Titanfall, Call of Duty and Battlefield, this game managed not to only stand out but arguably lead the pack in 2016. Overwatch has changed what to expect from the team-based shooter. Each character is unique with a wide range of gameplay. A must buy.

The Uncharted series is basically TOmb Raider with a male protagonist. That said the game has always been and continues to be the benchmark of what great looks like on a PlayStation. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End continues to live up to that high standard. This maybe the end of Nathan Drake’s adventures but what a way to go.
