The NFL regular season is set to kick off on September 7, with the New England Patriots taking on the Kansas City Chiefs.  With another injury filled preseason, how will things play out?  Check out the predictions below to see how your team stacks up.

Teams Predicted to go 12-4

New England Patriots

New England Patriots

It won’t be easy, but it’s likely that the New England Patriots will get another division title this year. The first loss for the Patriots could be seen very early on in the season.  Against the New Orleans Saints.  Why?  Well, it will be a road game for them, and it is thought that the Patriots might have some defense struggles early on in the season.  The second loss is likely to come against the Oakland Raiders later in the season.  They will be playing Oakland in Mexico City.  The Raiders will be coming off a bye week, which could be the deciding factor in this match up. The other two predicted losses are thought to be against the Miami Dolphins and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Over all, not a bad season anticipated for the Patriots, but they will have some competition.

Green Bay Packers

In order to play the NFC Championship Game at Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers will need at least a dozen wins.  But that’s not exactly out of the realm of possibility.  Aaron Rodgers said he wants to play the NFC Championship Game this year.  That was after a loss in Atlanta for the conference title game in January.  In order to gain home field advantage for the playoffs, the Packers can’t have the slow start they had last year when they went 4 and 6.  But the schedule gods aren’t helping this year as the packers first two games could end up in a loss against the Seattle Seahawks and the Atlanta Falcons. Will they be able to get to 12 wins?

With those two teams predicted to have the best season, how will the other teams fare?
