There will be a whole lot game developers and publishers to support Sony’s NGP. Over 80 companies are working on games for the Next Generation Portable right now. Big names like Capcom, Konami, Activision, Level-5, Epic Games, Square Enix, Sega and Rockstar.  What is bigger news to seems to be that  Electronic Arts and THQ are not one of the 80 helping out.

Next Generation Portable will feature dual analog joysticks, two touch panels, and a 5-inch OLED screen with four times the resolution of PSP’s. What does all this cost? We have no idea yet but we now how much battery life will be taken out.   4 to 5 hours of battery life is all you will get out of it. Not enough for a whole family trip or a metro ride.   This how ever put it on the same playing field as 3DS, which lasts 3-5 hours depending on the brightness and 3-D settings.
